This course moves beyond Internet basics and details specific information necessary for digital sales professionals to not only speak the language, but to succeed in this continuously evolving medium.
We will cover the resources upon which interactive experts rely, from their daily news sources, to job sources, companies to watch in the digital space and more. Also on the docket is the RFP process and the involvement of agencies, syndicated research, metrics, psychographics and all of the elements leading up to a proposal. Attention will also be paid to specific advertising options online, with a focus on display advertising and the creative outlets offered in that space.

We will then focus on proposal writing and what agencies are looking for. Next, we'll cover proposal submission/follow-up and the work that needs to be done in the aftermath. Finally, we'll explore post-sale, a world very different from that in traditional media sales. We wrap up these learnings with a look at a typical RFP and work together to build a digital advertising proposal.
