Description:
Director of Sales & Client Services position is an opportunity to build out the digital advertising business for an established integrated media company.Responsibilities include:
- Responsible for strategic sales and management of their digital advertising business
- Drive and support new business development, while participating in client pitches and presentations
- Develop leads and build strong relationships with clients who are best served by comprehensive performance based digital programs
- Implement strategies for existing clients
- Client services/management, optimizing and managing campaigns to clients ROAS (return on ad spend) expectations
- Utilize experience and communication skills to create a process by which the organization, and client / team objectives are reached
- Manage a small team while reporting to management
- Provide insight and/or digital education to prospective clients as well as internal team
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Several years of Agency and/ or Digital Sales / Marketing experience; previous performance-based experience requited
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to lead internal team responsible for digital programs in a start-up environment
- Strong presentation skills
- Must have strong understanding of interactive strategy, design, production; and ability to recommend & implement tactics to leverage media and provide positive ROAS
- Experience/familiarity with ad-serving technologies including Mediaplex, Mediamind, DFA, etc.
- Strong understanding of SEM (Google, Yahoo!, BING, etc), and working knowledge & familiarity with Social Media, Mobile advertising, ad-networks, ad exchanges, and e-mail marketing
- Effective solution selling skills, and ability to build rapport with clients; an understanding of digital products and how to apply them to clients specific needs
- Demonstrated track record of developing successful digital marketing programs
- Ability to build strong relationships internally as well as with external technology partners
- Travel as necessary
