An innovative ecommerce company seeks an experienced sales professional to build on the success of the company’s unique offering and to increase sales in the greater New York market.Responsibilities include:
- Manage all aspects of the sales process including developing new and incremental business, determining needs, and proposing compelling programs
- Develop advertising sales plan for account list to meet or exceed growth and revenue goal
- Weekly and accurate forecasting against goals
- Develop and maintain strong client and agency relationships
- Develop long term strategic plans and programs that pinpoint new revenue opportunities
- Represent as one of the company’s key external evangelists
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Several years successful sales experience
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
- Demonstrated success at growing revenue at an entrepreneurial company
- Solid contacts at key clients and agencies
- Ability to communicate effectively and convincingly in person, on the phone and in writing
- Strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to close; ask for the business
- Emotional intelligence, positive attitude, enthusiasm, high energy, sense of humor
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on, rapidly changing environment
- Ability and willingness to travel
- BA/BS degree
