Description:
A hot digital media company is looking for a Director of Audience Development to grow the subscriber base for several digital services.Responsibilities include:
- Manage User Acquisition and Lead Generation programs – SEM, Facebook Ads, Affiliate, Display, Retargeting, Partnerships, Social
- Setting-up, monitoring, reporting on, and optimizing online campaigns to maximize performance and meet campaign goals (free and paid subscriptions)
- Test and analyze landing pages and creative to make data-driven decisions to increase conversions
- Experience with optimization tools preferred
- Prepare, analyze, and present acquisition findings to internal team and to the Board
- Search Engine Marketing
- Lead the evaluation and adjustment of strategies to improve campaign performance in such areas as bidding, keyword generation, advertising copy, reporting and analytics
- Also, responsible for managing SEM Agency during 6 month engagement
- Affiliate Marketing
- Manages affiliate marketing programs accountable for increasing market share and revenues through marketing programs with external affiliate partners
- Position is based in New York City
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Several years experience in SEM, Facebook Ads, display advertising, online marketing, and affiliate marketing
- Thorough understanding of online marketing channels/concepts/principals, SEM/SEO, Social Media
- Experience working for consumer internet brand with similar subscription model (free and paid subscriptions)
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Experience using Google Analytics, Omniture, or other similar tools
- Desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
