A growing, fast-paced media agency with an excellent management team focused on media strategy, planning, and activation is seeking an Analytics Supervisor. We are an independent agency instilling thoughtful strategy and digital expertise into media implementation and analytics. The agency makes impactful media simple. Responsibilities:

The Analytics Supervisor oversees a team of data specialists and works cross-functionally with media strategy, programmatic buying, paid social, and SEM teams to ensure the satisfaction of client and agency reporting needs and related tasks.

  • Manage a team of 2-3 analysts while balancing attention across numerous projects and client requests
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to translate analytics requests into action plans and deliverables
  • Design and deliver performance reports, dashboards, and measurement plan recommendations
  • Serve as a proponent for Agency’s analytics offering and seek opportunities to forge strong client relationships
  • Implement and refine ETL best practices within the agency
  • Provide POV for staff and clients on new technologies and vendor partners
  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of all team outputs
  • Develop processes to automate common reporting and analytics tasks
  • Lead client-facing communication and articulate concepts in easily understood language
  • Troubleshoot technical issues involving site and campaign tagging, data quality, data visualization, event tracking, ad operations
  • Use ETL tools to extract data from marketing platforms and load it to a suitable database
  • Build and publish tracking tags using Google Tag Manager or other tag management solutions
  • Manipulate, clean, and visualize data using Tableau, Tableau Prep, Excel, MySQL, and similar tools

Qualifications:

We are seeking someone with a keen understanding of statistics and the intellectual curiosity to explore new concepts in digital media, ad tech, and measurement. The Analytics Supervisor should be a dataviz expert who can retrieve and manipulate data effortlessly across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of end-to-end digital campaign execution including ad trafficking, conversion, and event tracking, reporting, and measurement tools.

Required

  • Hands-on experience with Tableau, Tableau Prep, or other BI and ETL tools (Datorama, Supermetrics)
  • Natural tendency to identify and investigate inconsistencies in data
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities
  • Excellent quantitative and critical thinking skills
  • Project management, leadership, and collaboration
  • Understanding of multi-touch attribution or unified measurement platforms and their inputs/outputs
  • Experience with SQL, Javascript, Python, or R
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and its various platform integrations
  • Familiarity with traditional media (television, radio) measurement
  • Ability to efficiently analyze and provide insights into complex data sets
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
  • 3-5 years’ analytics experience in digital media

Preferred

  • Previous experience in the digital media or marketing industry
  • Familiarity with programmatic media buying tactics and platforms
  • Degree in a quantitative field (engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics)
