Summary:
An established, successful Digital Publisher is seeking a Client Services Manager, who will act as an internal sales support/strategy representative responsible for the conceiving, managing and executing online marketing initiatives and management of all advertising programs and associated revenue pre- and post-sale. This includes media plan creation, campaign implementation, optimization, reporting, program retention and renewal, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of advertiser business issues.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to RFPs, develop media plans and presentations in line with strategic marketing goals
- Execute and implement advertising campaigns to ensure accurate impression, performance, and revenue delivery
- Take a leadership role to coordinate efforts between other cross-functional teams as necessary (implementation of new products and custom elements); position interfaces with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Creative, HTML and Site Operations departments
- Work with Ad Operations to ensure clients ads are trafficked, monitored, and optimized
- Maximize campaign performance and company revenue by preparing reports, analyzing data (performance and delivery), preparing recommendations and initiating tactical optimizations (creative execution and strategy, placement evaluation, day-parting, frequency capping, etc.) to further increase success rate and renew/grow current business; work closely with Advertising Operations and Advertising Sales on budget forecasting and revenue/pipeline monitoring
Qualifications:
- 4-year degree required; marketing or business degree preferred
- Media Planning experience an absolute requirement
- Experience activating programs (custom builds/approvals with clients)
- Client-facing experience
- Marketing and/or Account Management experience for a Digital Publisher
- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and influential written and verbal communication skills; ability to quickly form relationships usually by telephone or email
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally; ability to exercise judgment and flexibility in balancing program requirements, milestones, and keeping people and projects moving on schedule
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical, quantitative and strategic problem solving; Excellent grammar, spelling and proofreading skills
- A high degree of proficiency in MS Office products; Ability to use databases; Excellent working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
- Demonstrated ability to quickly build positive team relationships
- Able to think strategically and act tactically; willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done
- Project management experience a plus
