Summary:

A powerful SaaS platform is seeking a Director of Content Marketing to play a highly visible and strategic leadership role within the marketing team, driving and promoting company-wide content marketing initiatives. The successful candidate will be a digital evangelist capable of providing both strategic collaboration and tactical support while serving as the go-to person for global management projects. The Director of Content Marketing will work closely with the local marketing managers and teams, product marketing, product management and global leads of legal, CRM, marketing automation and integrated marketing, as well as external content creators.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and leadership on global marketing projects and campaigns
  • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget following established and proven project management procedures and schedules
  • Ensure projects meet expected business impact and ROI per the established targets
  • Provide comprehensive and actionable reporting of KPIs and audience metrics
  • Involve, empower and hold project team members accountable for their contributions
  • Contribute to projects by providing marketing expertise, applying hands-on efforts and promoting confidence and collaboration with project team members
  • Perform all functions related to project management, determining all resource needs, tools, equipment and any additional dependencies
  • Work closely with group-wide and local marketing resources to ensure successful and effective execution of projects across the company
  • Orchestrate implementation of supporting technology platforms and resources
  • Anticipate, identify and communicate industry trends, opportunities and potential risks

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience creating compelling content
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in a project leadership position
  • Experience working in an international multicultural environment with English as the primary language
  • Proven experience in B2B enterprise marketing
  • Degree in marketing, communications or business
  • Solid and confident inter-personal skills; a problem solver and solution provider
  • Demonstrated success in creating and editing compelling long/short-form, online and promotional copy
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic content campaigns
  • Fluency in the tools and techniques of inbound marketing, account based marketing, direct and outbound marketing, online campaigns, SEO/SEM practices, online publishing, social media as well as other key areas of contemporary marketing
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Superior project management and communication skills
  • Ability to influence people within the organization
  • Effective use and prioritization of budgets and staff capacity
  • Passion for Software as a Service as well as web and social technologies, preferably in an enterprise environment
