Summary:
A leading B2B publisher, provider of information, data, and software tools for professionals in the financial services, related technologies markets, and the municipal and capital markets has an exciting opportunity for a Sales Director, Enterprise. In this role, the Sales Director, Enterprise will be responsible for driving growth in the company’s information services and data subscriptions business.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the growth of the informational services business through renewals, upsells, and new business
- Manage an inside sales team with 3-4 sellers
- Consistently meet or exceed both existing and new business individual and team sales goals
- Negotiate, compile and distribute client proposals and agreements
- Creating opportunities for brand new site or group account business
- Conducting online product demos and training
- Presenting products and services in person (when applicable), online, and over the phone
- Proficient in the use of Salesforce, LinkedIn, G-Suite
- Ensure accuracy of CRM records and all supporting systems
- Consistently searching for new business lead
- Working effectively with sales, customer success, and sales operations teams
Qualifications:
- Experience in a consultative selling role to financial services firms
- Managing a sales team, preferably inside sellers
- Strong understanding of financial services products preferred
- Proficient with subscription-based service selling of $50K+ accounts.
- Organized and self-motivated with a strong sales record that can be validated
- Genuinely has a passion for sales and likes to win, & ready to roll up your sleeves
- Experience building and maintaining a large corporate content book of business
- Previous B2B sales experience selling into corporate accounts
- Comfortable in a very fast-paced environment and likes to be challenged
- Process-oriented & attention to details a must
- Great listener, communicator and have top-notch interpersonal skills
- You have the necessary soft skills to work with senior-level DM’s
