Summary:

A full-service Marketing and Online Media Company is seeking a Manager, Client Strategy & Development, who will be responsible for selling into new and existing advertising agencies as well as direct clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Increase sales profits and exceed sales quotas by sourcing, soliciting, and opening new account, as well as servicing current accounts
  • Understand your customers marketing and advertising needs
  • Identify and close new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with new and existing clients
  • Plan, monitor, and adjust activities to ensure success
  • Effectively and professionally represent the company and its products
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach, which requires significant time and effort to educate prospects about company’s value proposition

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business related field
  • Prior experience in B2B technology sales (performance based online media, advertising, etc.) preferred
  • Strong phone sales, prospecting, and closing skills
  • Consultative sales experience
  • Knowledge of online media business models, and common user experiences a strong plus
  • Must have excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • A team player who is self-motivated and driven to succeed
  • Strong focus on generating results
  • Confident, energetic, and professional
  • Strategic thinker
  • Experience with the internet, and proficiency with software such as MS Word, Excel, Power Point, MS Outlook, and Salesforce.com
