Leading consumer media company is seeking a Marketing Manager who will play a critical role in developing and packaging innovative opportunities and products to a vast array of advertisers. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, collaborative, self-motivated marketer with proficiency for delivering creative solutions and best-in-class ideas that connect with consumers, deliver results for advertisers and drive revenue. This individual will have an eye towards marketplace trends shaping business and have an ability to clearly articulate the company’s strengths and competitive advantage.
The Marketing Manager will be focused on leveraging the full scope of the portfolio of assets to generate revenue; as such, this role will work closely with Editorial, Digital, Video, Data, Brand, Product, and Creative teams to develop and execute on new advertiser opportunities.
- Create ideas that can live cross-platform and generate revenue
- Develop and package innovative solutions and products for advertisers
- Experience in marketing and sales promotion (digital and/or integrated marketing)
- Candidates must have a balance of strategic and creative ability, strong interpersonal skills and time management
- Effective organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with the sales team and clients, as well as with managers, colleagues, and vendors
- Familiarity and use of research (GfkMRI, comScore, etc.), partnerships, events, content, promotions and more to effectively engage advertisers in a particular category
- Team player with a “can-do” attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to take control of projects
