Media Sales Director

Summary:

A programmatic lead-generation platform, providing high volume, quality leads to many of the globes leading brands is seeking a Sales Director. The Sales Director will contribute to the success of the company serving the NYC and possibly certain East Coast regions. 

Responsibilities:

  • Securing new sources of advertising revenue from national accounts and meeting pre-determined sales quotas
  • Prospecting, qualifying, closing new accounts
  • Setting daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly sales agenda and strategy
  • Building and maintaining strategic relationships with ad agency and client contacts
  • Communicating status of revenue and agency/advertiser relationships to management
  • Hit quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Closing new business through in-person meetings, telephone sales calls

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree
  • Several years of experience in digital/online sales (media, ad tech, etc.)  
  • Familiarity with performance-based ad sales businesses required, lead-gen preferred
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales goals and building long term client relationships
  • Ability to absorb new sales opportunities and quickly turn them around to clients
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to think creatively, sell strategically, and communicate efficiently internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and working knowledge of CRM platforms such as Salesforce  
  • Energetic, thrives in an entrepreneurial, growing company
