Summary:

A leading marketing services agency is looking for an Associate Programmatic Director, who will oversee the development and execution of programmatic campaigns across Display, Social, Mobile, Native, and Video channels. In addition to the daily account level campaign management responsibilities, the Account Director will also continually evaluate and assess landscape developments and technological advancements across channel development, cross-device, data, programmatic creative and technology (including DMP’s, DSPs, & SSPs), and industry trends to create deeper expertise and to inform internal and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the overall development of desk level programmatic buying strategies including the identification and evaluation of optimal partners
  • Bring executional knowledge of the Private Marketplace landscape (strategy, negotiation and proper technical execution) to the team and organization
  • Ensure team operations and client deliverables are aligned with client’s goals and the strategic vision of the business
  • Promote programmatic media buying practices through the organization with education to further their digital practice
  • Contribute strategic insight in new business efforts, determine optimal staffing assignments for existing clients and new business scenarios
  • Maintain accountability for QA procedures across upcoming, live and ending campaigns
  • Manage and grow junior team members through training

Qualifications:

  • Experience with a demonstrated track record of progressive responsibility success in building and managing strategic partnerships with leading DSPs and programmatic partners
  • Management experience and demonstrated ability to manage and motivate team to deliver on goals
  • Understand the dynamics of the programmatic digital video ecosystem
  • Ability to collaborate as a team as well as to work independently
  • High attention to detail
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong problem solving and project-management skills with the ability to understand and interpret customer needs and partner with product teams to develop solutions
  • PC proficiency and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Especially Excel!)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Hands-on experience with ad technologies including data management platforms, DSP’s, SSP’s, ad-verification, and 3rd party data providers is required
  • Media tools and Donovan Data Systems is a plus but not required
  • Familiarity with viewability measurement (MOAT, IAS, DoubleVerify) and audience measurement (Nielsen DAR)
  • Experience with ad serving solutions, tag management and operations is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with MMM, DMM or attribution modeling is a plus but not required
  • Experience with HTML and Tableau is a plus
