Summary

Growing, successful contextual video platform, connecting publishers, content providers, and brands through video is seeking a Publisher Sales Executive with experience and proven performance. You are a sales professional with a strong understanding of the video ad-tech market, trends and ecosystem. You need to be a charismatic, energetic and resourceful person, with a proactive approach and a passion for success. The position requires you to have relationships and contacts with direct publishers across the digital landscape, understanding of the programmatic space and knowledge of the video ad-tech industry including trends, terms, and technology. You will be joining our NYC office and will play a key role in expanding our business.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads, qualify, negotiate and close new business with premium digital publishers
  • Identify market trends and understand client business goals to determine ideal solutions 
  • Execute sales pitches and presentations
  • Track and manage publisher acquisition pipeline and account activities in Salesforce
  • Work collaboratively with the national and international team to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and leading events 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • Experience in Publishers Sales are essential, ideally in video or ad tech solution, with rolodex to prove it
  • Strong interpersonal skills; must be client-facing with experience presenting to and achieving buy-in from senior executives (managers, directors, VPs, CMOs, etc)
  • Proven ability to close new business and forge new relationships with decision-makers
  • Ability to successfully multitask and handle priorities
  • Knowledge of the online video advertising industry
  • Strong analytical skills to collect business intelligence by conversing with clients and monitoring/identifying trends in data and generated reports
