Summary

A profitable, successful Business-to-business (B2B) multi-platform digital/integrated media property is looking for a Sales Marketing Manager to join a world-class marketing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this individual will work to identify creative solutions for strategic, ROI-based programs that deliver against client objectives and drive revenue. He/she will impact the business by leveraging the organization’s suite of integrated products, create compelling proposals and custom sales packages, and post-sale multi-platform campaign activation. He/she will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with editorial, marketing, sales, design, and development who will support them in pursuing the ambitious goals they set out to achieve for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Source and manage a roster of content freelancers
  • Collaborate with the design team on the creative development of all sales collateral
  • Oversee the creative execution of all custom content projects, including video, research, and native articles
  • Collaborate with the Editorial, Product, and Sales teams to identify, conceptualize and launch new custom programs and sales opportunities
  • Developing advertising pitches to address specific clients and proposals (RFPs) that integrate custom ideas, creative mock-ups, marketing collateral, and pricing
  • Create sales packages and content sponsorship opportunities that leverage editorial, video, events, research and more
  • Define and articulate the value proposition of our products in supporting sales materials

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or business-related field
  • Direct experience developing marketing strategies within a B2B or B2C environment
  • Familiarity with third-party data and insight providers, i.e. DCM, Double Verify, etc.
  • Deep understanding of B2B/B2C sales processes, direct and agency-sourced
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Superior project and time management skills
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with others at different levels in the organization
  • Basic HTML experience
  • Experience with SailThru, Pardot, Marketo, Silverpop, Eloqua or other marketing automation platform
