Summary

An independent New York-based media planning and marketing solutions firm is seeking a Senior Account Director.  As a company, they are dedicated to developing customized plans that optimize media investment, and generate exciting, innovative ad opportunities to suit each client. 

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing very smart, very strategic media plans and seeking out past learnings to the betterment of always trying to do better
  • Responsible for building sound strategy to support overarching campaign flowcharts and detailed media plans (considering target, audience size, available assets, goals, etc. / consulting available research)
  • Responsible for presenting plans to client and securing necessary approvals
  • Responsible for overseeing implementation of campaigns with primary focus on digital media (includes display, streaming video, streaming audio, social, search, etc.) 
    • Extensive digital media knowledge a must (both site direct and programmatic inventory across various vendors/platforms/placement types) 
    • OOH/Print knowledge a plus
  • Coordinate and run team planning, performance evaluation meetings 
  • Ensure optimizations are implemented across media types and performance improves week over week 
  • Report out to client and ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met
  • Assist with trafficking, trading, reporting and billing, across all media channels as needed to ensure timeliness and accuracy  
  • Read industry trades and stay updated on digital marketing trends 
  • Maintain relationships with all vendor contacts; staying up to speed on all developments (new ad formats, targeting capabilities, et al.) and gaining consideration for beta test inclusion

Qualifications:

  • Digital media planning and buying experience
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication
  • Strong mathematical and analytical acumen
  • Attention to detail
  • Tools/Software:
    • Ad Server platforms (i.e. DoubleClick, Sizmek, Google AdWords)
    • Ad Verification platforms (comScore, MOAT, IAS)
    • Google Analytics certification is a plus
    • Basic knowledge in web creative/specifications a plus
    • Excel, PPT, Word, etc.
