Summary:

A leading Adtech platform for publishers is seeking a Strategic Account Director who will be integral in forging new publisher partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team as they go through a period of rapid growth, advancing their position
  • Coach the team and sharing your knowledge, network and experience enabling their world class team to continue to develop and grow
  • Develop programmatic relationships, cementing their position as the leading Native SSP
  • Primarily outbound publisher software sales and programmatic partnerships, with some inbound lead development
  • Forge deep relationships with additional key stakeholders even after contracts are signed
  • Assist in identifying and developing publisher opportunities and entry strategies in new verticals
  • Provide strategic insights to ensure continual improvement of our Publisher Sales & programmatic product strategy
  • Develop a deep understanding of our publisher landscape, including integration with common ad serving technologies
  • Evangelize the company’s Mission to help publishers maximize monetization, while respecting user experience, via trade shows and personal networking

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Media/Technology/Adtech including knowledge of the publisher ecosystem
  • Previous experience in a programmatic role
  • Experience managing, coaching, mentoring and motivating a team
  • Lead generation, outreach, or sales experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the economics of digital advertising
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly gain in-depth knowledge of publisher needs and requirements
  • Self-starter with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Startup experience a plus
