Summary:

A growing performance-based marketing agency and company that provides high volume, quality leads across multiple digital channels for many of the world’s leading brands is looking for a “Player/Coach” to help grow their US sales and business.  

Responsibilities:

As VP of Sales, you will have a proven track record in performance marketing and will have strong relationships within Digital Agencies or Direct Advertisers. You will oversee the sales and account management on both coasts, growing the teams commensurate with business growth.

  • Take primary responsibility for the day to day management and leadership of Sales, Client Strategy/Account Management, and Publisher Development teams
  • Manage and take responsibility for the US P&L
  • Training, coaching and long-term development of staff
  • Develop and implement long term sales strategy and achieve optimum performance of the Sales Team to drive growth and revenue 
  • Identify and prioritize business opportunities 
  • Lead a portfolio of new business within Agencies and/or Direct Clients
  • Maximize the potential of the sales team by driving growth in both existing and new customers, increasing sales capacity and revenue
  • Lead all agency-of-record pitches
  • Work on innovation and continual evolution of the company’s offering
  • Ensure the teams are collaborating globally to knowledge share, and communicate effectively 
  • Plan Marketing roadmap with a key focus on ROI
  • Report directly into the CEO 
  • Contribute to the overall strategy for the business alongside global managers and founders
  • Manage any key operational issues locally
  • Travel between offices to support local teams

Qualifications:

  • 6 years of Digital sales experience – preferably in direct response/performance advertising
  • Excellent Agency and Direct Client relationships with the corresponding book of relationships and experience of pitching and closing agency accounts
  • Strong track record of performance against sales targets
  • Excellent communication, networking and presentation skills
  • Strong leadership and team-building competence
  • Ability to foster an inclusive spirit across the team and the wider business
